The government has presented the government's policies and programs for the Fiscal Year 2082/83 BS.
President Ramchandra Paudel read out the document of the policies and programs prepared by the government before the joint meeting of the National Assembly and the House of Representatives today.
Presenting the policies and programs in the joint meeting of the parliament, President Paudel pledged to bring major overhaul in the development approach, accelerate pace and reprioritize stalled projects in the coming Fiscal Year 2082/83 BS.
The infrastructure development projects announced by the previous governments will be prioritized for implementation, according to the policies and programs. Likewise, the projects development works will be classified according to a priority basis – those to be accomplished by the Fiscal Year 2082/83 and those to be completed within the tenure of the current parliament.
Taking into consideration the minimum common programs pledged by the coalition government during its formation, the government will remain committed to the good governance and fast economic development.
The government's policies and programs presented for the fiscal year 2082/83 aim at consolidating public administration and constitution, countering unconstitutional activities, reviewing and removing constitutional hurdles through amendments.
Similarly, the policies and programs will also prioritize political stability and maintain policies.
