The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported continued rainfall across various parts of Nepal, with snowfall in the mountainous regions. The weather system affecting the country is being influenced by western winds and moisture from the Bay of Bengal.
Most regions will experience partly to generally cloudy conditions today. Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall, with some areas experiencing thunderstorms and lightning during the day. The mountainous districts of these provinces may see light snowfall in isolated areas, according to the Division.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy in hilly regions and generally fair in other areas, with chances of scattered rainfall with thunderstorms in some locations.
Meanwhile, authorities have issued travel advisories for motorists and trekkers in hilly and mountainous regions due to potentially hazardous road conditions and reduced visibility.
