Chair Dahal, FinMin Paudel discuss upcoming budget at Khumaltar

Maoist Center Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' (rifht) and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel.

CPN (Maoist Center) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel held a meeting today.

During the meeting held at Dahal's residence Khumaltar this morning, they discussed the matters related to the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

"Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel has held talks with chairman of the main opposition CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'," a member of Prachanda's secretariat told Nepalkhabar, "The meeting was primarily focused on the upcoming budget, not on the political issues."

Deliberations have started on the policies and programs for the Fiscal Year 2082/83 BS since yesterday.

Prachanda on Monday heavily criticized the policies and programs brought by the government.

Both the houses are scheduled to endorse the policies and programs on May 11.
