Ganga Narayan Shrestha joins Maoist Center as secretary

Ganga Narayan Shrestha, the coordinator of Nepal Samajwadi Party, who facilitated its merger with CPN (Maoist Center) is set to become the secretary.   

Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' signed a five-point agreement on behalf of Maoist Center and coordinator Shrestha inked the document on behalf of the NSP.

According to the agreement, Shrestha will be given the responsibility of the secretary of the central party office while the others will get adjusted in the party, accordingly.

"Coordinator Communist Ganga Narayan Shrestha, who led the party merger between NSP and Maoist Center, will be appointed as a secretary of the Maoist Center while the other leaders will accommodated in the party with respectable organizational roles," reads the agreement.
