A few hours after the US bombed Iran, a phone conversation took place between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Prime Minister Modi shared the information about his discussion with the Iranian President through a post on X. Modi said he expressed deep concern over the military conflict and reiterated his call to immediately adopt the path of dialogue and diplomacy to reduce tensions during the telephone conservation.

According to Indian media reports, the call was initiated by Iranian President Pezeshkian to Prime Minister Modi.
During the conversation, President Pezeshkian provided detailed information to Prime Minister Modi about the current situation. The phone call lasted for 45 minutes.
The Iranian President described India as a friend and partner in promoting regional peace, security, and stability and thanked Prime Minister Modi for India's stance and appeal in favor of reducing tensions, dialogue, and diplomacy.
He stated that India's voice and role in restoring regional peace and stability are crucial.
The US carried out an attack on Iran last night, while Iran is already engaged in a war with Israel.
US President Donald Trump stated that the strikes targeted Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
