Shramsansar App has officially been launched as a Nepal's digital platform with the aim of streamlining data of Nepali migrant workers abroad on Friday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security jointly launched the App amidst a program organized in Kathmandu.

Following the launch of the App, the Foreign Ministry said the digital platform has been launched in order to support and gather information and details of Nepalis in foreign employment. "By registering their details on this app, it will now be easier to obtain information about where, in what conditions, and in how many numbers Nepali people are residing," reads the tweet posted by the Foreign Ministry.

The Ministry expresses belief that this App will facilitate the provision of necessary consular services and the rescue of those in distress.
"Operated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, arrangements have been made for this app to be updated through Nepali embassies in the respective countries," the Foreign Ministry said.
