The home team Uzbekistan has taken a 3-1 lead against Nepal in the first half of the Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers underway in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan scored two goals early and then extended its lead in the first half of the final match of the Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers by converting a penalty.

Earlier, Uzbekistan took a 1-0 lead in the second minute of the match and doubled their lead in the 11th minute.

A strike from Uzbekistan's captain went past Nepal's goalkeeper Anjali and deflected off defender Samiksha Ghimire into the net.

In the 16th minute of the match, Nepal's captain Sabitra Bhandari Samba passed to Rashmi Kumari Ghising, whose shot went straight into the hands of Uzbekistan's goalkeeper.
