Two Nepalis killed, two others injured in US car accident

Two Nepali students studying at Louisiana Tech University have died in a car accident in the USA.

Local authorities said 22-year-old Rajan Yadav and 20-year-old Rojin Oli from Nepal died in the accident.

According to international media outlets, their car veered off the road after hitting a tree amid hurricanes and heavy rainfall.

The accident occurred around 9 PM on Saturday, July 13, according to local time.

Two other passengers aboard Honda Accord sustained injuries in the crash.

The two Nepalis died on the spot, while the injured passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Louisiana State Police is investigating the accident, which took place on US Highway 80, west of Louisiana Highway 507.

Detailed information about the deceased Nepalis, including their local addresses in Nepal, has not yet been disclosed.
