Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to embark on an official visit to India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Preparations for the Prime Minister Oli's visit to India have already begun, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Nepalkhabar
"Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is vising India, soon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has started preparations for his visit, accordingly," the source said. "The date and agenda will be finalized after discussions and coordination between officials of the two countries."
Oli has not visited India since he assumed office as the Prime Minister of Nepal. However, he has already visited neighboring China. India has been displeased with Oli since Nepal released a new map incorporating territories like Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura, which India has been claiming as its own.
Earlier, Oli and Modi had briefly met during the BIMSTEC summit in Thailand in April.
