Prachanda sworn-in as 44th Prime Minister of Nepal

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has taken the oath of office and secrecy as the 44th Prime Minister of Nepal.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Prachanda, who has become the Prime Minister for the third term with the support of the seven-party alliance, including the CPN-UML.

Outgoing Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba also attended the swearing in ceremony.

Similarly, former Prime Ministers KP Sharma Oli and Makav Kumar Nepal were also present during the oath-taking ceremony.
