Envoy Dr Rupakheti presents credentials to Czech President Pavel

Nepali Non Resident Ambassador to Czech Republic, Dr Shail Rupakheti, has presented his credentials to President Petr Pavel.

Ambassador Rupakheti submitted his credentials to Pavel amidst a special ceremony organized at Prauge Castle in Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic on Monday.

During the meeting with President Pavel, newly elected Ambassador Rupakheti conveyed the greetings and best wishes from the President of Nepal, Ram Chandra Paudel, to the government and the people of Czech Republic, for prosperity and continuous progress.

A guard of honor was presented to Ambassador Rupakheti amidst a resonance of the national song of Nepal during the function.

During the meeting, President Pavel expressed belief that the friendly bilateral relations between Czech Republic and Nepal would take a new height during Rupakheti's two-year tenure, the Nepali Embassy stated in a press statement.  

Present at the function were Ambassador Rupakheti's wife Dr Indira Paudyal, and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Nepali Embassy in Berlin, Germany, Sagar Phuyal, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and other officials from the Foreign Ministry of Czech Republic.

The Nepali Embassy in Germany is also accredited to Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Vatican City.
