A huge number of Gen Z have gathered at Maitighar Mandala for demonstration against the irregularities of the government.

Thousands of students clad in their school uniforms are now shouting slogans 'Wake Up Nepal', 'No Jobs, No Justice', 'We Need Leaders Who Build and Support US, Not Those Who Benefit Themselves', Enough is Enough' among others.

They are, currently, moving toward the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar wielding placards against corruption, nepotism, social media ban and political anarchy? Meanwhile, a significant number of security personnel have also been mobilzed to preempt any untoward incidents.

The demonstrations have also been staged in Pokhara, Biratnagar and Itahari. Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah, veteran artists and comedian duo Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya among other artists and players have expressed solidarity with the demonstration of Gen Z.

People born roughly between 1997 to 2012 are referred to as Generation Z.
