The country, which turned chaotic for two days -- on Monday and Tuesday due to massive protests staged by Gen Z – has turned calm today.
The situation turned calm after the Nepali Army took over the security condition of the country.
Following the announcement of the curfew since 10 am yesterday, the Nepali Army personnel have been deployed in various thoroughfares of the roads of the Kathmandu Valley.
General public have been urged not to come out of their houses unless it is really urgent. The NA personnel are seen incercepting commuters and allowing them to pass by only after verying their identity cards.

Most of the public vehicles have stayed off the road today, except a few commuters walking on and moving on motorbikes and vehicles.
However, vehicles carrying media persons, medical persons, diplomats, human rights officers, firefighters, ambulances and water tanks are permitted to ply the roads.
Besides, a group of Gen Z were seen clearing the roads left messy due to massive protests for the last two days.
