Singha Durbar, the main administrative hub of the country, has suffered massive damages after protestors set a fire to the complex on Wednesday.

After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned from his post, the Nepali Army have taken him to a safe place from Baluwatar. The whereabouts of other ministers, who were airlifted from their Bainsepati-based residential complex, is unknown. The Parliament Secretariat has also been deserted.

No government employees have reached the offices despite Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal's urge to resume essential services to the general public.

The transportation in the Kathmandu Valley has also been banned due to curfew.
