Newly appointed four ministers have taken the oath of office and on Monday.

President Ramchandra Paudel administered them the oath amidst a ceremony at Sheetal Niwas this afternoon.

Former Supreme Court Justice Anil Kumar Sinha took the oath as the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Land Management and Poverty Alleviation, scientist Mahabir Pun (Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Madan Pariyar (Minister for Agriculture, Cooperatives) and Jagdish Kharel took the oath as the Minister for Communication and Information Technology.  

Pariyar is the former coordinator of the State Restructuring Commission that had submitted a report with a blueprint of 10 states. However, the report was not implemented as the Constituent Assembly was itself dissolved. Similarly, Jagdish Kharel is a journalist.

Rameshwar Khanal has already been appointed as the Minister for Finance, Kulman Ghising as the Minister for Energy, Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development and Om Prakash Aryal has been appointed as the Home Minister.
