Two American citizens who recently escaped from jail have been arrested. They were serving a jail-term on charges of child sex abuse and rape.
American citizen Mitchel Norman Taylor, who was serving a jail-term on the charge of child sex abuse case had escaped from the Kaski prison and Johnson Lioyd Mudi had escaped from Sundhara prison. He was serving a jail-term on the rape charge.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested the escapists from Maharajgunj today. They had also escaped from their respective jails when the prisoners came out from the prisons across the country during the Gen Z movement on September 9.
The police are making preparations to hand over them to their respective prisons, said DSP Dharma Raj Bhandari of CIB.
