The government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reshuffled three secretaries following the brutal crackdown of the Gen Z protests.
A meeting of Home Minister Om Prakash Aryalo has transferred Home Secretary Gokarna Duwadi to the National Planning Commission and inducted Defense Secretary Rameshwar Dangal as the Home Secretary. Similarly, Suman Raj Aryal has been transferred as the Defense Secretary from the National Planning Commission.
A massive reshuffle has been made in the administration at the Home Ministry following the Gen Z movement. Likewise, a reshuffle has also been made in the police administration.
Over 200 police officials including the head of Chief of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) and that of Kathmandu District Police Range have been reshuffled following the brutal crackdown of the Gen Z protests that occurred on September 8-9.
