The Prime Minister, Sushila Karki, is addressing the nation today.
Prime Minister Karki, on behalf of the interim government formed with the backing of the Gen Z uprising, is set to address the nation at 6:00 pm.
This will be the first time Prime Minister Karki is going to address the nation.
During the address, she is expected to publicize the government's priorities and commitments. Preparations for this are being led by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal. The Chief Secretary and a few other secretaries are also involved in the process.
A cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place this afternoon before the Prime Minister's address, according to sources from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
