Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said all the demands raised by the Gen Z movement do not fall within the mandate of the incumbent interim government.
Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Karki said, "All the demands including the administrative structure raised by Gen Z groups do not fall within the scope of the incumbent interim government. The demands will be met in a constitutional manner."
Karki urged one and all including youths and political parties to participate in the upcoming general elections to amend the Constitution through the due process.
Stressing the need to conduct the elections in a free, fair and peaceful manner, Karki urged Nepali citizens, especially those residing in the geographically far-flung areas, to exercise maximum restraints and cooperate from their side.
She further said that all the security agencies have been fully mobilized to ensure security and maintain law and order.
