The influence of monsoon and local winds across the country is presently weak, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Generally, there will be partly to moderately cloudy in hilly areas of all provinces while the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy.
There is a chance of rain in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and light rain in a few hilly areas of the other provinces.
Likewise, some areas in the Terai region may experience moderate rain with thunder and lightning. One or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces are likely to receive heavy rainfall.
Tonight, hilly areas of Gandaki and Sudurpaschim Provinces, along with other hilly regions, are expected to be generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy.
Moderate rain is likely in some hilly areas of Gandaki Province, a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and one or two places in other provinces.
