Laxman Rai, who sustained injuries during Gen Z protest, passes away

Laxman Rai of Nuwakot, who was seriously injured in police firing during the Gen Z movement, has died.

Rai, a resident of Panchakanya Rural Municipality-2, Nuwakot, who was undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center, died on Sunday midnight.

According to the family, his body has now been taken to the Forensic Department of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem.

He had been shot in the back of the head.

The death toll from the Gen Z movement has already reached seventy-five, according to the government.
