Nepal sets 174-run target for West Indies thanks to half-century of Aasif and Sundeep

Nepal has set a 174-run target for West Indies in the 2nd T20I cricket match in the United Arab Emirates.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday, Nepal notched up 173 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Aasif Sheikh topped the score with 68 runs including 8 fours and 2 sixes off 47 and deliveries and remained not out. Similarly, Sundeep Jora scored 63 runs including 3 fours and 5 sixes off 39 balls while Mohammad Aadil Alam contributed 11 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.

On the bowling side, Akeal Hosein and Kyle Mayers grabbed 2 wickets each and Jediah Blades took 1 wicket for West Indies. 

Earlier, in the first match held at Sharjah Cricket Ground on September 27, Nepal had made a historic win against West Indies by inflicting a 19-run defeat on the opponent.
