PM Karki set to expand her cabinet today; 4 more ministers to be appointed

Prime Minister Sushila Karki is going to expand her cabinet today.

According to a source at Baluwatar, four new ministers will be added to her cabinet.

"Ganapatilal Shrestha will be appointed as the Minister for Tourism, Sudha Gautam will take charge as the Minister for Health, Bablu Gupta the Minister for Sports, and Khagendra Sunar will become the Minister for Labor," the source told Nepalkhabar.

With the addition of four ministers today, the Karki-led cabinet will have 12 members. Previously, the cabinet consisted of eight members.

Sushila Karki: Prime Minister,

Rameshwar Khanal: Minister for Finance

Kulman Ghising: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Physical Infrastructure and Transport; and Urban Development

Om Prakash Aryal: Minister for Home Affairs

Anilkumar Sinha: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Law and Justice; and Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation

Mahabir Pun: Minister for Education, Science and Technology

Madan Prasad Pariyar: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development

Jagdish Kharel: Minister for Information and Communication
