Nepali youth killed in London hit-and-run

A Nepali youth who was injured after being hit by a car in London, the capital city of the United Kingdom, has died.

According to a local media outlet, Yubin Tamang, a 20-year-old Nepali student who was injured after being hit by a car, died on Monday in the course of treatment. He was hit by a black Audi on Redbridge Lane East in Ilford, East London, on October 18.

According to the British police, the vehicle was driven by 41-year-old rapper Ghetts. He fled after his car hit Tamang. Ghetts was arrested by the police last Monday itself.

Currently in custody, he is being produced for the second time today at Barkingside Magistrates' Court.

According to the local police, Tamang, whose home is in Dharan, Nepal, had gone to the UK on a student visa.
