Nepal has won the toss and elected to field first against UAE in the second match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
The One Day International (ODI) tri-series match is being played at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai which kicked off at 11:15 am Nepali standard time.
Both the teams have played 17 matches so far under League 2 and remain in the bottom two of the points table. Nepal stands in the 7th position with 12 points while UAE is in 8th position with 6 points. Having played 22 matches, USA leads the points table with 34 points so far.
In the previous match held on October 26, Nepal lost to USA by 106 runs.
Led by Rohit Poudel, the Nepali national cricket team is coached by former Australian cricket Stuart Law.
