Nepal lost to USA by 4 wickets in the ODI tri-series of the ICC Men's World Cup Cricket League 2 held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Chasing the 272-run target set by Nepal, USA reached it in 49 overs losing 6 wickets.
Saiteja Mukkamalla topped the score with 75 runs including 2 fours and 1 six off 101 balls followed by Milind Kumar with 70 runs while Shayan Jahangir, captain Monak Patel and Shubham Ranjane 36, 21 and 19 runs, respectively. Similarly, Smit Patel, Sanjaya Krishnamurti and Harmeet Singh contributed 16, 15 and 13 runs, respectively.
In reply, Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed 3 wickets while Nandan Yadav, Karan KC and Gulsan Jha took 1 wicket each for Nepal.

Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Saturday, Nepal notched up 271 runs losing all wickets in 49.5 overs.
Dipendra Singh Airee topped the score with 75 runs including 2 fours and 3 sixes off 67 deliveries. Similarly, Karan KC scored 49 runs including 2 fours and 3 sixes off 31 balls followed by Kushal Bhurtel, Bhim Sarki and captain Rohit Paudel with 47, 43 and 36 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowing side, Harmeet Singh took the highest 3 wickets while Saurabh Netravalkar and Nosthush Kenjige grabbed 2 wickets each. Similarly, Shubham Ranjane and Jasdeep Singh claimed 1 wicket each for USA.
This is the third consecutive defeat of Nepal in the ongoing ICC World Cup Cricket League 2. Earlier, on October 26, Nepal lost to USA by 106 runs and to UAE by 5 wickets on October 30.
