Dharan Sub Metropolitan City Mayor Harka Sampang's Shram Sanskriti Party has been registered at the Election Commission Nepal (EC-N).
According to EC-N Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, Sampang was provided with the party registration certificate this afternoon.
"He was provided with a party registration certificate a while ago," Bhattarai said.
"Sampang, who became the mayor of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City through the last local elections, formed Shram Saskriti Party under his chairmanship and applied for registration at the EC-N on September 28.
The party with clay as the symbol has Devraj Lama as Vice Chairman, Aryan Rai General Secretary and Samita Rai treasurer.
The party, whose symbol is clay, has Devraj Lama as Vice Chairman, Aryan Rai as General Secretary, while Samita Rai is the Treasurer.
