Deshbhakta Samajwadi Morcha led by Gopal Kiranti has merged with CPN (Maoist Center).
Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Front Chairman Kiranti publicly released an agreement letter, confirming the Front's integration into Maoist Center. Although the agreement was reached on November 1, the agreement letter was only made public only today.
The agreement states that this decision was made to stabilize the unprecedented risks facing Nepali politics, currently. The move is guided by the policy that prioritizes unity and polarization among the nation’s revolutionaries. The goal is to defend the Federal Democratic Republic and ensure its progressive implementation.
3-point agreement
A task-force will be formed to objectively document and review past ideological, political, and organizational errors. This will guide the process of unity, struggle, and transformation, aiming to build capacity for taking up the socialist task of the Nepali revolution.
The newly unified party will conduct a systematic discussion on the 'Socialist Democracy with Patriotic Identity' developed by Comrade Gopal Kiranti, and make a decision based on full democracy.
To implement the agreement, Marxist revolutionaries under the leadership of Deshbhakta Samajwadi Morcha Chairman Gopal Kiranti will be integrated into Maoist Center.
Meanwhile, the unified force appeals to all Nepalis—including workers, farmers, the landless, youth, and patriots—to intensify socialist polarization.
The ultimate resolve is to take the initiative for the strengthening of Nepal's national independence, integrity, and sovereignty to implement the constitution's socialism-oriented state provision laid down in the Constitution of Nepal.
