The minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has dropped below 10 degrees Celsius today.
According to Binod Maharjan, a meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature of the Valley dropped to 9.6 degrees Celsius during the measurement taken at 5:45 am today.
According to meteorologists, the minimum temperature slightly increases when the sky is cloudy at night, and it decreases when the sky is clear.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology measures two types of temperatures—minimum and maximum—for various places in the country, including Kathmandu, every day.
According to meteorologists, the minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am and the maximum temperature is measured at 5:45 pm.
