With the winter season fast-approaching, temperatures are gradually dropping and cold is increasing across the country.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped to almost 9 degrees Celsius.
According to David Dhakal, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was 9.3 degrees Celsius as measured at 5:45 am today.
"Yesterday (Saturday) at this time it was 9.6 degrees Celsius, later it decreased to 9.2 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am," he said, '"Moreover, the temperature was recorded at 9.3 degrees at 5:45 am today, and it will definitely decrease by 8:45 am now."
Today's official minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am.
The minimum is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum is recorded at 5:45 pm.
