Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain has been remanded to four days in police custody.
The District Administration Office, Kathmandu allowed the police administration to investigate Prasain by keeping him for days in custody, SP Pawan Kumar of District Police Range, Kathmandu Bhattarai said.
A team of police had arrested Prasain from his residence on Monday night.
Prasain had been publicly stating that he would launch the second phase of demonstration from the fourth week of November.
Prasain has been charged with disrupting peace and security.
