Thirty-five Nepali nationals who were deported by America have arrived in Kathmandu. The 35 Nepalis arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday via an American chartered plane.
Under President Donald Trump's policy, the United States has been deporting foreign nationals who were residing there illegally. Many Nepalis have been deported before as well.
The 35 Nepalis who arrived in Kathmandu yesterday were sent by the Department of Immigration to the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau.
SSP Krishna Pangeni informed that the Bureau released them after conducting general inquiries.
The police generally conduct further investigations on Nepalis deported from America only if they file a complaint claiming they were victims of injustice.
