The English edition of Nepalkhabar has been launched from today. With the success achieved by Nepalkhabar in six years, we have come up with the English edition in view of the needs of the growing number of English speaking visitors.
Now, through the English edition, Nepalkhabar is directly connected with the Nepali diaspora, the youth groups who are comfortable using English language, and English speaking foreigners who are in Nepal and want to know about Nepal.
Six years ago, on July 8, 2016, Nepalkhabar was launched as a digital news portal in Kathmandu. Over this period, we have achieved good success in presenting Nepali and Nepal-related contents professionally and connecting Nepalis around the globe through digital means.
In this regard, the suggestions and feedback received from the visitors and well-wishers have given us the strength to start the English edition and expand our scope.
With Nepal's deepening ties with the world and the expanding Nepali diaspora, a leading digital media cannot stay away from the international English language speakers. The Hong Kong edition of Nepalkhabar is popular among Nepalis living in Hong Kong and the UK. We have come up with the English edition while expanding our reach to other countries wherein reside a large number of Nepali people.
In the English edition, we will not only publish the latest news, views and analysis on Nepal issues, but also try to dig into the stories of Nepali diaspora and growing Nepali entrepreneurship abroad.
As we are launching the English edition in our seventh-year journey, we would like to thank all those visitors, well-wishers and business companies, who extended their unyielding trust and support towards us even during the Covid-19 pandemic that crippled their companies and the country's economy.
