Biratnagar Kings has clinched a nail-biting 3-wicket victory over Karnali Yaks, thanks to Basir Ahamad's explosive batting. Ahamad smashed a last-minute six when the spectators were wondering who would win the match.
Basir topped the score with 62 runs including 3 fours and 3 sixes off 43 deliveries. Similarly, Narayan Joshi scored 25 runs while Sahil Patel and Sam Heazlett contributed 19 and 16 runs, respectively. Similarly, captain Sandeep Lamichhane, Pratis GC and Lokesh Bam scored 6 runs each while Marchant de Lange collected 2 runs for the victory of Biratnagar.

On the bowling side, Sompal Kami and Gulsan Jha took 2 wickets each while Pawan Sarraf, Nandan Yadav and William Bosisto grabbed 1 wicket each for Karnali.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground on Friday, Karnali notched up 160 runs losing 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Priyank Panchal topped the score with 63 runs including 6 fours and 2 sixes off 47 balls before being run out. Similarly, William Bosisto scored 48 not-out runs while Gulsan Jha and Najibullah Zadran contributed 20 and 12 runs, respectively. Likewise, Mark Watt collected 6 runs.

On the bowling side, Marchant de Lange and Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed 1 wicket each for Biratnagar Kings.
Biratnagar sits second on the points table with 8 points from four wins and one loss in five matches. Meanwhile, Karnali Yaks has collected just 2 points from one win and three losses in four games.
Two matches are scheduled for Saturday. Lumbini Lions will take on Pokhara Avengers in the first match at 11:15 am and Janakpur Bolts will and Sudurpaschim Royals will lock their horns in the second match at 3:30 pm.
