Cold grips Valley as mercury dips to 6.6 degrees

The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has gone down further today compared to yesterday.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the temperature was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am.

It was 7 degrees Celsius around the same time yesterday.

It had plunged further to 6.7 degrees Celsius when it was recorded at 8:45 am on Saturday.

The official temperature will be recorded at 8:45 am. The temperature is likely to plunge further at that time.

With the winter approaching fast, the temperature is decreasing across the country.

While the minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 pm.
