Three persons were charred to death in a fire that broke out in a moving bus after being struck by a truck in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh.
Twenty-four others sustained injuries in the accident, with six critically.
According to Indian media outlets, the ill-fated bus was heading to New Delhi from Nepal border Sunauli (Rupandehi).The deceased are yet to be identified. A total of 45 passengers were traveling in the bus with many of them from Nepal.
The condition of the driver and conductor is yet to be identified.
After hitting the truck, the bus continued for 100 meters before crashing into an electric pole. The pole broke and fell onto the bus, triggering a huge fire.

The passengers had run in panic after the fire broke out in the bus, with some escaped the bus by smashing the window pane, a video footage shows.
The police had reached the incident site after being tipped off by those who managed to escape the fire.
The incident occurred at Phulwariya Bypass in Kotwali Dehat Police Post, Balrampur district, at around 2:30 am today.
