Five political parties have submitted the list of candidates under the proportional representation (PR) list to the Election Commission, Nepal (ECN).
These five parties have submitted the list as the submission deadline is expiring today.
Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) has become the first party to submit the PR list followed by Nepal Loktantrik Party, Rastriya Janamorcha. Janapriya Lokpriya Party and NCP (Marxist-Pushpalal).
Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Nepali Communist Party, Rastriya Swatantra Party among others are yet to submit the list.
Parties must submit their lists during regular business hours. Following submission, they will have a seven-week window to correct any cluster arrangements that do not comply with current electoral rules.
