The candidates have filed nominations for the House of Representatives elections across the country today.

According to the Election Commission (EC), a total of 2,925 candidates have registered nominations for 165 constituencies.

According to Krishna Bahadur Raut, the secretary at the Commission, 336 female and 2,589 male candidates registered candidacies as of 6 pm.

Similarly, among those filing candidacies include 85 differently abled candidates and 138 from the backward region. Since these data are primary, some minor changes might take place, said Secretary Raut.
