The inspiring odyssey of Nepal’s first billionaire, Binod Kumar Chaudhary, reached a new milestone on Friday with the official launch of his latest book, Made in Nepal. The book launch took place during a high-profile ceremony at the Banaras Literature Festival in the Indian holy town Varanasi.

The book was formally unveiled by acclaimed Indian actor Anupam Kher, who joined business leaders and literary enthusiasts to celebrate Chaudhary’s transition from a local entrepreneur to a global tycoon.

Made in Nepal provides an intimate look at the origins of the CG Corp Global empire. The narrative tracks the relentless expansion of his business interests, most notably the iconic Wai Wai noodles, which now boasts a presence in markets as diverse as Serbia and Egypt.

The book is described as a testament to fearless risk-taking, covering Chaudhary’s ventures across more than 200 industries. Key highlights of the memoir include insights into how a brand born in Nepal successfully spread across continents, candid reflections on his political triumphs and the tenacity required to navigate complex global markets to engaging anecdotes that blend humor with serious lessons on perseverance and self-belief.

"This book proves that a dream born in Nepal can stand tall on the global stage," the author shared during the event, emphasizing that his story is meant to inspire the next generation of Himalayan entrepreneurs to think beyond borders.

As the founder of Nepal’s largest conglomerate, Chaudhary’s latest literary contribution offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the grit required to build a multi-continental legacy from the ground up.
