Chartered air ambulance crashes in Jharkhand; seven killed

A chartered air ambulance (aircraft) flying to Delhi carrying patients from Jharkhand crashed in Chatra, India, killing all seven people on board.

According to Indian media outlets, the Redbird Beechcraft King Air B90L took off from Ranchi for Delhi at 7:11 pm on Monday. But, the aircraft went out of contact at 7:34 pm.

The aircraft was later found crashed in the Samaria forest in Chatra district of Jharkhand.

The deceased were Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat (pilot), Captain Sabrajdeep Singh (co-pilot), Sanjay Kumar (patient), Archana Devi (family member), Dhuru Kumar (family member), Vikas Kumar Gupta (doctor) and Sachin Kumar Mishra (paramedical staff).
