The players, including the former captain, have protested at the ANFA complex after the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) neglected the treatment of national women's football team captain Sabitra Bhandari 'Samba'.

The players, including the former captain, staged a demonstration at the ANFA complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur on Tuesday, holding placards with slogans such as 'Is Sabitra Bhandari a Nepali?, How long will ANFA continue to spread lies?, How can ANFA exist without players?, So help in the treatment of the players'.

The former captain, current vice-captain and players of the national team, including Nepal Football Players Association President Bikram Lama, participated in the protest.

After ANFA neglected Samba's treatment, Samba had sought financial assistance for her treatment through social media.
