NC's Narendra Kerung elected HoR member from Panchthar

Narendra Kumar Kerung of Nepali Congress has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Panchthar.

According to the Election Commission, Kerung of Nepali Congress has been elected as an MP by getting 17,233 votes. His competitor Hasta Raj Sherma of Shram Sanskriti Party has got 14,734 votes.

Similarly, Aindra Sundar Nembang of CPN (UML) got 14,534 votes, Harka Bahadur Nembang of Nepali Communist Party (NCP) obtained 11,443 votes, Mahendra Bikram Thamsuhang of Rashtriya Swatantra Party received 4,167 votes while Tek Bahadur Subba of Rastriya Pariwartan Party got 2,825 votes.

With this, Nepali Congress has won 14 seats so far.
