The results of 161 constituencies out of 165 have been published under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system until the posting of this news.
According to the Election Commission, Nepal, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured with 124 seats in the House of Representatives (HoR). It is leading in one more seat. Similarly, Nepali Congress has won 17 seats and is leading in one more seat, according to the Commission.
UML has secured third position with 8 seats and is leading in 1 seat. Likewise, Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has achieved 7 seats and Shram Saskriti Party has won 3 seats. Rastriya Prajatantra Party and independent candidate have won one seat each, according to the Commission.
The results of Dhanusha Constituency 1 has not yet been disclosed.
Similarly, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) inches closer to the four-million-vote mark in the proportional representation (PR) category.
According to the Election Commission, out of 8 million 010 thousand 650 votes counted, RSP alone received 3 million 857 thousand 826 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress received 1 million 307 thousand 561 votes, CPN-UML received 1 million 107 thousand 345 votes and Nepali Communist Party received 569 thousand 202 votes.
RPP is in fifth place in the proportional representation. It received 269 thousand 106 votes. Shram Sanskriti Party has 275 thousand 353 votes
