The Nepali national cricket team is set to receive Rs 37 million 666 thousand 88 from International Cricket Council (ICC) for their participation in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Issuing a notice on Wednesday, ICC announced the amount to the cricket teams participating in World Cup. According to the notice, the international cricket governing body has distributed US $ 11 million 250 thousand in prize, a bigger in amount compared the 2024 World Cup.
Nepal had played four matches in the group stage. Nepal lost first three matches and won the last group stage match by defeating Scotland.
T20 World Cup champion India has received Rs 388 million 113 thousand 163 in prize money.
