Spain defeated Saudi Arabia 4-0 in Group H under the FIFA World Cup match played last night.
This is Spain's first win in the ongoing World Cup.
With this win, Spain is back in rhythm. In the previous match, Spain was held to a goalless draw by debutants Cape Verde.
With the win, Spain climbed to the top of Group 'H' with 4 points after defeating Saudi Arabia 4-0 in the match in Atlanta.
Spain's Lamine Yamal scored the first goal against Saudi Arabia in the 10th minute of the match.
Then, Mikel Oyarzabal added two consecutive goals in the 21st and 23rd minutes to give the team a comfortable 3-0 lead.
A suicide goal by Saudi Arabia's Hassan Al-Tambakti in the second half gave Spain a 4-0 victory.
Now Spain need a 1-point draw in the final match against Uruguay to secure a place in the Round of 32.
Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, need a strong comeback against Cape Verde to keep their chances of advancing to the next round alive.
New Zealand and Egypt are facing off in the World Cup at the Multi-Purpose Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, at 6:45 am today. Both teams are looking for their first win in the tournament.
