Cooperative victims have staged a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu, demanding the return of their savings.
Resuming their street protests to draw the government's attention on Friday, the victims, who have been on the streets for almost four years, complained that they have not received justice despite repeated assurances from and agreements with the government.

They said that they have reclaimed the streets again saying that the agreements made by the government are limited to paper, reminding Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) of its pledge made during the election campaign, who is going to form a new government on March 27.
During the election campaign, RSP had promised to return the savings of depositors within 100 days from the formation of the government. They displayed placards saying, "We remember the 100-day pledge written in the manifesto."
