Senior leader of Rastriy Swatantra Party (RSP) Balendra Shah (Balen) is scheduled to take the oath of office as a new Prime Minister on March 27.
The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to be held at 12:34 pm on Friday, informed RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti. Accordingly, the President's Office has been requested to make preparations.
The oath-taking ceremony will be conducted using seven conches. Similarly, it has been decided to recite Swasti Shanti from 108 batuks, informed Burlakoti.
Along with this, Buddhist monks have also been invited to the oath-taking ceremony. He said that it has been decided to recite Ashtamangal from 16 Buddhist monks at the ceremony, according to Burlakoti.
After taking the oath of office as Prime Minister, the program for the inauguration of the office has been scheduled for the afternoon. He said that the new Prime Minister will take charge of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar at 2:15 pm on Friday.
RSP won 182 seats in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5. RSP which has secured a nearly two-thirds majority, is forming a new government.
