The 15th General Convention of Nepali Congress (NC)) has been scheduled for upcoming October 2 to 4.
The Congress Central Working (CWC) Committee meeting on Wednesday decided to hold the 15th General Convention on October 2, 3 and 4, 2026. In the CWC meeting on Tuesday, President Gagan Thapa presented the agenda for the upcoming regular General Convention from September 9 to 11.
CWC member Ajay Babu Siwakoti said that the CWC has endorsed the agenda along with amendments to hold the 15th General Convention from October 2 to 4.
Earlier, the dates for Ward Convention on July 22, Rural Municipality/Municipality Convention on July 28, Province Assembly Regional Convention on August 8, had been proposed.
The lower-level conventions have been rescheduled. According to the new schedule, lower-level conventions will be held after mid-August.
