All seven Nepalis injured in UAE out of danger; six discharged from hospital

All Nepali nationals who were injured in attacks in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in course of the West Asian conflict are out of danger.

It is reported that seven Nepalis were injured in that attack. The Nepali embassy there has stated that all the injured Nepali citizens are safe.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today that the embassy officials made telephone contact with all seven individuals, including the seriously injured, and they informed the embassy that they are out of danger.

The embassy officials met four of the injured today to inquire about their condition and mentioned that they would coordinate for necessary support.

Spokesperson of the Ministry, Lok Bahadur Poudel Chhetri, said that the remaining three people will also be met soon to obtain the necessary information.

According to spokesperson Chhetri, six people have been discharged from hospital after receiving general treatment, and one more Nepali who was said to have sustained serious injuries is receiving medical treatment, and he is also out of danger.

"He said on the telephone that he would be discharged from the hospital soon. As soon as information about this incident was received, the ministry had instructed the embassy for necessary coordination," spokesperson Chhetri said.

The relevant authorities in the UAE made arrangements for providing proper treatment to the injured Nepali citizens in a timely manner. The embassy has stated that it is committed and ready to provide any necessary assistance to them.
