GP Timalsina, the former husband of former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi, has been arrested.
Acting on a complaint lodged by his former wife, the District Police Range, Bhaktapur arrested Timalsina on Tuesday afternoon.
Former Miss Nepal had lodged a complaint at the District Police Range, Bhaktapur accusing her former husband Timalsina of misbehaving and threatening her.
Earlier, the police had called both the complainant and defendant to the office so as to settle the dispute between them.
He was arrested after the discussions yielded no solutions, the police said. Timalsina has, now, been kept at the police custody of the Bhaktapur District Police Range, Office. The police said further investigations into the case is underway.
